Bryce Thomas: 6 Months

I just realized that I forgot Bryce's 5th month post....oops. Kinda funny but it really just sums up this crazy life with these littles. That month flew by!

Our Bryce had his HALF BIRTHDAY.
Its so hard to believe that he is already 6 months old. I swear during week 3 when I was on my own with the two boys, I never thought I'd survive 6 months. #thatsdramatic #butitstrue

I'm happy to report we have all survived and we are in a nice little routine now. The days are still exhausting at this point but we are smiling more then crying #welliam.

Anywho...I'm rambling. Sorry Bryce. Happy 6 Months! #youcantevenreadanyways

Bryce is:
19.4 lbs (85th %)
28.25 in (97th %)

Our guy is sitting up all by himself!

Bryce loves loves loves watching Nathan. His eyes follow him around the room all day. I know in no time at all the two of them will be the best of friends.

No teeth yet! I'm so surprised by this!
We've tried Oatmeal, Apples, Prunes, Peas, Carrots, Sweet Potatoes and he loves EVERYTHING! I mean...it's a "cries when it's all gone" kinda love.
 #Ifeelyakid #waituntilyoutrypizza

He's staying really busy jumping in his jumper or scooting around the floor. I'm guessing I have less then 2 months before we are totally crawling. #ah

Love you little guy!

What's Up Wednesday #twoweekslateedition

I started this and life got in the way and I never came back to it. What a better way to catch up on #lifelately then with a little what's up wednesday #twoweekslate!

{What We're Eating This Week}

Sun: Did we eat? I have no idea

Mon: Homemade Turkey Meatballs and Zoodles

Tues: Chicken Sausage and Sweet Potatoes

Wed: Baked Chicken Fajitas

Thurs: Taco Salads

Fri: I work Friday nights- so we usually do leftovers

{What I'm Reminiscing About}
Having a little baby around. I swear. The days dragggggg but the weeks go by so fast and all of a sudden Bryce is 6 months old...and my Nathan is turning THREE next month.

{What I'm Loving}
I haven't done a "Friday Favorites" post in a while! So here's a couple things I'm loving right now.

Grapefruit Shandy! It's so refreshing and I love anything grapefruit

I've been using this product when I blow dry my hair and I loveeeee the smell

{What We've Been Up To}

This past month has flown by! We spent a week at the beach with Eric's mom. The weather was great and we really enjoyed so much time together as a family. It was not the leisurely vacation I was dreaming about...but what was I thinking?! I have at least 10 years until I get to relax with my eyes closed on the beach. #summerof2025 #countdownison

My girlfriends and I went on our 7th annual girls beach weekend! It was awesome! I look forward to this trip all year when I can relax in the sun with my favorite girls and non-stop girl talk! The weather was hot...just how I like it! Love having these girls in my life!!

Eric took on the weekend by himself and I think they had a great weekend without me. #ishouldgoawaymoreoften
He really knows how important this girl time is to me and he never complained once!
 #okmaybeonce

Eric sent me this picture of Nathan obviously miserable and missing me horribly #not

{What I'm Dreading}
I'm kinda done with summer at this point. August is kind of a waste, right? I mean. It's so hot. Lets get Fall going.

{What I'm Working On}
I'm going BACK TO SCHOOL in September. #no #dontmakeme
All hospitals are going to require BSN degrees for RN's by 2020.
So it's time I bite the bullet and get it done.
I have my opinions on this whole movement in nursing but thats a whole different post. #thatnoonewillread

{What I'm Excited About}
FALL. PUMPKIN EVERYTHING.
Is it too early to pull out my "Sweater Weather" Candle?

{What I'm Watching/Reading}
Eric and I have been binge watching Parenthood. We are on season 5 and I'm really dreading the end.
I want to be a Braverman so.bad. #thatsnotnormal #itsjustashow

I love having a show to watch in the evenings together. Summer TV is kind of slow, so it's the perfect time to binge watch a good show!

I'm trying to keep up with Bachelor Pad because....yes.
But two days a week is a big commitment!

{What I'm Listening To}
"I can't feel my face when I'm with you".
I have no idea what that means...but I like it.
That song is always in my head

{What I'm Wearing}
It's all casual around here. BUT I did buy a couple things from the Nords Semi-Annual Sale and I now I can't wait for fall to show up! I basically buy anything that one of my favorite bloggers  Pinterest Told me To recommends!

{What I'm Doing This Weekend}
Working on Friday night and Eric and I are going to a wedding on Saturday night.

{What I'm Looking Forward to Next Month}
I'm really looking forward to preschool starting up. I love having a good schedule during the week, things just seem to flow better around here!
This is Nathan last year on his first day of 2 year old Preschool. #idieeee

{What Else is New}
That's all!

Show and Tell Tuesday: Beauty Routine

I'm linking up with Andrea today and sharing my beauty routine!

I cringe a little when I even say "Beauty Routine". A lot has changed since I stopped working full time and spend most of my time running after the boys. Being in the trenches of motherhood really changes ya...

1. Pureology Hydrate
My hair girl recommended this to me and I have been using it since! I love the tingle feeling and the smell. It really has kept my hair looking healthy. I buy the liters when they are on sale and they last me about 8 months!

2. It's a 10
This stuff is ah-mazing.
If I stop using it for a couple weeks I can really tell a difference. Pricey- but worth it.
#babyimworthit

3. 3- Day Straight
Typically I let my hair air dry and then do some quick curls with my curling iron. On days when I want it super straight- this product is a must. I have wavy hair and it really helps it get (and stay) straight for days.

4. Aveda Brush

5. Clinque Happy Heart
This isn't really routine, haha...but If I do wear perfume it's this one. I've been wearing it since college  and I always come back to it because it smells.so.good.

6. Rodan and Fields- Reverse
I've never been big into washing my face. Who has time for that?
I was introduced to this by a friend and I am obsessed. It has really brightened my skin and lightened all of my sun spots. I love the way it smells, it exfoliates and I've been using it religiously for almost 2 months now and I love my results. The system includes sunscreen- which is really light feeling.
 #25forever #nowrinkles

7. Younique 3d Lash Mascara
Still haven't found any mascara I love as much as this one!

8. Maybelline - Dark Circle Eraser
Yes. Love this stuff for my tired eyes.

{My daily makeup routine is super quick}
A little Bare minerals
a little lot of bronzer so I don't look dead
some under eye eraser
and some mascara.
done.

Life Lately

{Life Lately}

Summer is just flying by...here's a little about what we've had going on!

Yes. This happened.
We traded in my beloved GMC Terrain for a Honda Odyssey Touring. My 16 year old self SWORE I would never drive a minivan, but I couldn't be more excited for more space and convenience. Love!

One day at library story time- Nathan found a Caillou book and was SO excited. He took it right over to the table and started "reading" it.

#bookworm

I took the boys to visit Great Grandpa

We played in the dirt and we found worms #ew

Our college friends came to visit. It had been a YEAR since we saw them last because life has been so busy. Last time we saw them I had just found out I was pregnant with B and they had just had their second baby. Time flies!

Here are our first born babies! We both named them after characters in our favorite show when we are in high school/college, "One Tree Hill". I can't believe I just admitted that.

I got brave and took both kids with me to get Nathan a haircut. There was definitely a time when Bryce was first born that I thought I'd never be able to handle both of them in public...but we're doing it!

"Smile and I'll let you have a lolly pop". yep.

My mother in law watched the boys for me one morning so I could run some errands. She sent me this picture of B sleeping in his mamroo. Seriously. 5 months. He looks so big.

Friday morning E was home for the holiday weekend! He ran off to the driving range and I took these hooligans on a nice long walk. #icanteven

My sweet cousin Paige sent me this side by side of Nathan and Bryce that she made. Both are about 5 months. I can't believe how different they look! #heartbreakers

We kept it low-key for 4th of july! Bryce is too young for fireworks..so we took the boys to the town center for an afternoon treat and to Nathan got to get out some energy.

We put the kids to bed and headed outside for Date night on the deck! We love it out there!

Sunday we are off to the beach for the week! Can't wait!
